Venlafaxine, : Venlafaxine, a snri, can affect libido. Treatment alternative may be bupropion. In addition, a recently approved antidepressant viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) (vilazodone) has been marketed as a drug with no significant adverse effect on libido.

See the prescribing : Doc. An alternative might be wellbutrin (bupropion) which has less ses affecting libido. Research shows that the combination of the right medication along with good psychotherapy is more effective most of the time than either one alone.
