One : One resource you should investigate is a community health center. These are often federally chartered, and receive health care subsidies to provide reduced-price care to low-income uninsured adults. Your state may also have a state plan which covers low-income adults, at least for primary care. In maryland, this is called the "primary adult care" program, but i don't know what it is in new jersey. The federal web site to help you find community health centers is the bureau of primary health care (bphc).

Insurance when aging: Hi my first thought is to get to aarp. If you are 60 years old you may qualify for their plans or supplemental plans. Then there is the medicaid programs in your state if your income is low enough. There is no reason to despair. It just may take a bit of digging to get some coverage.
