Maybe not: Arthritis is the loss of joint space. Sometimes the two bones are literally rubbing together or there is a big bone spur that has formed that limits motion. In those cases it is difficult or impossible to overcome.
Beware of "arthritis" because it is used for all types of conditions, from very minor arthritis to end stage.
