What are the chances of a secondary cancer after having cervical cancer?

Cervical cancer: The chances of a second cancer are low after invasive cervical cancer. If you had radiation treatment, you are at increased risk of developing a uterine sarcoma. Any women with cervical cancer is at risk for development of other hpv related cancers: throat, vagina, vulva, anus. However, overall risk is < 1 in 10.

1.3 x higher risk: In most cases, when referring to a cancer as a "secondary cancer" we are implying that the treatment itself may have led to a new cancer.
