Sounds like drainage: If you don't have a fever, and you are not having difficulty swallowing, then try taking an antihistamine - Benadryl (diphenhydramine) - to stop the drainage. Gargle with warm salt water - an old wive's remedy that soothes the throat. Try chloroseptic spray.
