A member asked:

What is the difference between norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) 10/325 and lorcet 10/500 and lortab 10/500? i am currently in a lot of pain.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Different dose: All these medications are combinations of hydrocodone, a narcotic pain reliever, and Acetaminophen which most people know as "tylenol (acetaminophen)". All three have 10 mg of hydrocodone. Norco 10/325 contains 325 mg of tylenol (acetaminophen) in each pill, while the other two have 500 mg. Their effects are similar; they are just different brand names. Be careful not to take too many, as you could damage your liver severely.
