Chemical burn: Acutely, you should flush the area with lots of fluid to minize exposure time and resultant damage. Once damage is done, you can use an antibiotic ointment to prevent infection and keep the area moist. If severe scarring occurs, topical and local steroids may be beneficial to modulate wound healing.
