Common condition: Fibrocystic condition is very common and is usually a benign condition. It does however include a range of different pathological changes in the breast. When it is associated with proliferative changes, there is slight increased risk of breast cancer. You don't need any special care unless you develope a lump or become symptomatic in which case you need to have a breast evaluation.
