See a dentist!: See a dentist! immediately! follow these steps: 1. Save any pieces. 2. Rinse the mouth using warm water; rinse any broken pieces. 3. If there's bleeding, apply a piece of gauze or a teabag to the area for about 10 minutes or until the bleeding stops. 4. Apply a cold compress to the outside of the mouth, cheek, or lip near the broken/chipped tooth to keep any swelling down and relieve pain.

See a dentist.: The only sensible thing to do is to see a dentist to determine if the tooth can be saved or not. Not seeing a dentist is risking pain and infection.
