I got swelling and pain in my right foot toe's root. it started on the lower side and has started to spread slowly?

Toe pain: I would need some additional information such as, recent history of injury to area, past medical history(diabetes, gout etc), history of past similar symptoms in the area previously.After, compiling this information a better clinical picture can be arrived at.
