Not yet: Cross species or xenotransplantation is a future goal to relieve the shortage of organs for transplant worldwide. However, it is not yet a perfected treatment option.

Yes: Both chimpanzee and baboon hearts have functioned in humans--at least for a short time. Long term success has yet to be achieved and is not being widely pursued due to ethical concerns for the animals and the excellent results using cadaveric donors.
