Stretching: Of course, the treatment depends on your exact diagnosis, but many achilles problems can initially be treated with physical therapy, heel inserts, and pain medication. Surgery is sometimes recommended as a last resort. I recommend that you see an ankle specialist if you're symptoms warrant.
