I had a stroke in 2007 but am doing much better now. i do have a lot of pain on my right side and in my legs. is this connected to my stroke and should i be worried?

Need a team approach: Stroke patients need to be followed by an internist (or family doctor or cardiologist) and a neurologist. One should look for the original underlying cause of the stroke, then make sure all risk factors are treated to prevent a recurrence. The neurologist should assess and treat the pain.
