Probably not: If you are smoking and not eating as much as before, and keeping usual level of activities, wt loss can occur. Otherwise, smoking itself is not a cause of wt loss. If you are eating same or more and experience wt loss, consult doc for possible thyroid trouble. Advanced cancers can cause wt loss as well--but at 24 is not very common. You sound concerning, thus should see doc. Good luck.
