Not the best: At your age, Cipro (ciprofloxacin)floxacin is not the best treatment. Epididymitis is usually caused by gonorrhea or chlamydia in young men, and Cipro (ciprofloxacin) won't treat either. The treatment (after doing tests for sexually transmitted infections) is usually with Ceftriaxone plus either Azithromycin or doxycycline.
