Imaging tests: 1. For pelvic masses a ct scan with contrast is probably the best test and MRI for further workup is needed in preoperative setting sometimes. 2. Mri breast is used in high risk women who have dense breasts, brca1/2 mutation, lobular cancer and where mammogram might have missed an abnormality.

For : abdomen/pelvic malignancies, CT is most commonly used, with MRI and PET/CT also utilized in certain circumstances. MRI is used for breast screening in special situations, but it is not an ideal screening test for the general population because it is time consuming, expensive, requires IV injection, and is not uniformly and readily accessible.
