What is emphacema?

Emphysema: Emphysema is a chronic obstructive lung disease, part of the copd. It is caused by smoking cigarettes with destruction of lung tissue and terminal bronchial tubes. Need to see a physician if you are worried about having emphysema. You will need pulmonary function tests and chest radiograph for further work up.
