See a dermatologist!: "white patch" is pretty nonspecific, especially without a photograph or physical examination. You should see a dermatologist who can diagnose and recommend the appropriate treatment.

Try hydrocortisone: Hydrocortisone cream/ointment may help. If this doesn't help after a week, get it checked out.
