Overweight? : If you are overweight, bending over can make you breathless simply by increasing the work it takes you to breath. If you are of normal weight or thin, see your physician. There are several conditions (some serious, some not) that can lead to breathlessness when bending over ... Figuring out which one is true for you would require more than we can get at here.
