A member asked:

Is there anything other than the weil-felix test for late diagnosis of tick bites?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The weil-felix tests: Are for rickettsia and in this context rocky mountain spotted fever. Not a great test there more sensitive and specific tests. If one is suspected to have rmsf treatment is given before the diagnosis is confirmed.
