A member asked:

My 6 month old had a severe reaction to her 4 month needles and has repeatedly lost circulation in arm(s) . is this a possible allergy to something ?

No this is temporary: Do not be concerned. She probably had superficial circulatory changes that are not dangerous or serious. Examples of this phenomena occur when you press the finger nail lightly and the color underneath is white and releasing allows it to turn red. Speak with your pediatrician about your concerns and you should be reassured this is not an allergy.

Need more IDAA: Anytime someone's condition is noted to change in close association with a medical intervention, it is important to discuss this with your health care provider. To make a determination about a vaccine reaction requires a more detailed evaluation than is possible in this venue.
