Hemoglibin: Your hemoglobin is high additional work up needed. Can be driven by low oxygen tension. Do you live at altitude. Were you a smoker with underlying lung disease. There is a condition called polycythemia rubra vera which is a bone marrow condition treated with phlebotomy. You need to complete evaluation which includes arterial blood gas measurement and if normal erythropoitin level.
