Tough to say: First of all, sorry to hear about this unfortunate turn of events. When the lungs become blocked with clots, the symptoms can range from none at all to immediate end-of-life. Thus, it's impossible to give your specific answer to this question. It depends almost entirely on the symptoms from the stroke and the extent of blockage in the long blood vessels. Good luck.
