Enemas not solution,: to constipation You need to drink plenty of water and have a diet high in fiber from fruits and vegetables. Also suggest Miralax and DSS (stool softener). If These don't work I would Rx Linzess

Temporarily: A fleets enema causes the colon to evacuate. Most often this simply results in evacuation of the solid stool within the distal colon, but it may cause the more liquid stool from the more proximal colon to reach the rectum "ahead of schedule" resulting briefly in diarrhea. This should clear fairly rapidly and not cause any persistent problems.

Bottle or bag: Fleet's brand enemas come in a variety of types-phosphate, saline, oil. They come in pre-filled bottles. Regular enema is tap water, often hung in a bag (looks like a hot water bottle with a hose and nozzle). Do not use soap suds-very irritating to lining of colon.
