Tennis elbow: Pain over the outside (lateral) aspect of the elbow, worsened by lifting, esp with the palm facing down. In later stages, pain at rest. Treated without surgery in over 90% of cases. Stretching, nsaids, counterforce bracing (forearm strap) occasionally during heavy activity, and selective cortisone injections (up to 2, but no more). Surgery results shown to decline after 2 injections. Good luck!
