Are people who have had ovarian cancer more likely to get colon cancer?

Yes: There is an association between colon and ovarian cancer, so if you have had one then your surveillance for the other should be increased.

Maybe: There are some genetic syndromes (see lynch) which link colon and ovarian ca, thus making one more susceptible if she carries the gene. If this applies to you, ask for genetic evaluation, as you may need earlier screening for colon ca, and it will also help to determine the risk any children you have might face!
