Anticoagulation: Some patients make blood clots more easily, and you are likely one of them. Recurrent clots in your lungs means you need life long anticoagulation with blood thinners such as coumadin (warfarin). You should also see a hematologist for evaluation of why you make clots. It can be hereditary. So, with medical therapy, and monitoring your prognosis is good.
