Yes: Yes, if the patients is a good candidate and he/she is dependent to contact or glasses then it helps them see without any devices. The patient will be free of contact and glasses to do any kind of sports, and water activities. Lasik is safer than contact lenses due to lower risk for recurrent infection/ulcer, or other contact related problems and injuries.
