How serious can finger fractures be?

Depends: Fractures that involve the joint can lead to arthritis, if not treated appropriately. Displaced fractures need to be realigned to avoid having crooked fingers. See a board certified orthopaedic hand surgeon for evaluation and treatment.

Very serious.: Some fractures could affect the alignment of your fingers. since we use our fingers daily for all activities of daily living, it's critical for a fracture to heal, or be surgically fixated, in an optimal position.
