No: Restless legs (rls) is best treated with alcohol and caffeine avoidance. Medications such as Requip (ropinirole) or Mirapex are the new standard of care. Stockings usually make RLS worse.

Never heard of any: Have seen lots of articles on non-medical ways of treating rls, including herbal medications, acupuncture and trigger point therapies, but never anything on stockings. Avoiding the medicines that can worse it (many antihistamines, many psychiatric drugs), diagnosing iron deficiency (which makes it worse), and several prescription drugs (requip, mirapex) can help.
