Believe it or not...: There is not a lot of data on the actual volume. There are various fluid indices, but measurement of the volume is not typical. Based on prior dye-dilution techniques, it would be approximately 500 to 4000ml.

Often yes: The vulva often gets darker during pregnancy. This is a physiologic response to pregnancy hormones and subsides after delivery.
