Not: Kidney stones are evaluated in the er, but not removed. Most stones pass on ther own, but if surgery neede usually a urologist will take out with a scope or lithotripsy can be performed.

Kidney stone: Kidney stones are not generally removed in emergency room. Diagnosis is made. Pain medication fluids. Most sent home with pain medication strainer for urine and referral to urology for definitive management lithotripsy, surgical removal. If you pass stone save it sometimes stone analysis can dictate preventative measures such as dietary measures.

No, not in ER...: Usually, kidney stone requires no emergent intervention. If procedure is needed, it should be done under a setting for proper anesthesia, not lightly at ER. For detail, ask Doc timely.
