Many possibilities.: This can be from a simple folliculitis, sexually transmitted disease or a Bartholin's gland cyst. See your physician for further diagnosis and treatment. Large cysts may require drainage by your doctor and antibiotics. If fever is present, or pain continues, see your doctor immediately.
