Yes: Although not as severe as intranasal decongestant sprays, sudafed can indeed cause rebound. You would be far better off taking an intranasal corticosteroid or intranasal antihistamine spray. I would suggest seeing an ENT doctor.

Not really: Only otc nasal sprays that contain afrin cause rebound congestion that can be severe if used for more than 3 days.
