Possibly: Contacts float on a layer of tears and some degree of water on the eye surface is essential. But if the watering is excessive and there is no redness or change in vision, then you might have a tear outflow problem. Hopefully you have maintained the proper contact wear and cleaning schedule. Discuss this with your contact lense fitter if this persists.
