What's the difference between svt and paroxysmal svt (psvt)?

Recurrence: Svt is typically used to describe a type of rapid heart beat that is related to a type of "wiring" problem in the heart. If a patient has more than one episode (which is typical), is is referred to as paroxysmal svt.
