How can i tell if i have gallbladder pain or muscle pain?

Talk to your doctor: It can be difficult to distinguish the two. Gallbladder pain often occurs after meals, in the upper abdomen, radiating to the back or right shoulder and may be associated with nausea or bloating. However, these symptoms may not be present in everyone with gallbladder disease. Your doctor may be able to distinguish or you may need an ultrasound or hepatobilliary scan.
