No: If actual bone growth estimations r needed, specific x-rays are needed. They do not tell you how tall ur going to be but tells u at what age your skeleton is. If you are 17 and have a skeletal age of developement of 12, you can expect growth but not how much.

No: No, not really. There are some ways to predict your ultimate height and it usually involves getting an X-ray of your growth plates to determine your "bone age" and then measuring a long bone such as the femur. The other way is to plot several points along a growth chart that is now available and that can be pretty accurate as well, but it takes several points in time to generate the prediction.
