How long does the toe nail fungus test take?

Fungus test: The fungus test can consist of two parts. One test is to look at the nail sample under a microscope to look for fungal elements. This of test takes not time at all. The other test is to culture, let the fungus grow on a plate, to identify the specific fungus. This test may take weeks.

Depends on the lab.: The labs i've worked with typically take one week to send a preliminary report back after receiving the nail sample, with a full growth final report in up to four weeks.
