Lorazepam: Benzodiazepines cause sedation and so does alcohol. Its not a good idea to combine these.

Hmmm: Usually the smallest dose is .5 mg, so are you breaking these in half? Lorazepam & alcohol have additive effects as CNS depressants. Together they impair psychomotor function. Also, you did not say how much wine you are drinking or what other meds you are on or what med conditions you have. The danger increases as the amount of alcohol you consume increases. Generally, a bad combination.
