Not for now: The baby is well protected by the layers of fetal membranes & fluid from all agents that do not enter your blood. Chlamydia is a localized infection in your genital tract. It never enters your blood. Get it treated & it won't be a problem. If untreated, baby can become contaminated at delivery and end up with an eye infection soon after and a potentially fatal pneumonia by 2- 4 weeks.
