I was diagnosed w/ syphillis & was treated. i had my partner tested it came back negative. i am getting symptoms again & test is pos.how can this be?

Wrong treatment: It may be that either your partner's test was wrong and he reinfected you or your infection was resistant to treatment. You should both be seen together by a doctor, tested, and if need treated together. And, next time protect yourself by insisting on condom use.
