Possibly: Pregnancy is always a possibility. Purchase and perform a home pregnancy test. These usuallly turn positive when you're about a week late. If it's negative, repeat in a week and call your doctor.

Why & when : Why was the test taken and when was it done? Elevated HCG is detectable rather early in pregnancy, but your test may have been taken too soon. You are in mid cycle now. Wait to see if your period returns to regularity or not before retesting.
