My baby is one month old. he won't go to sleep at night. is this normal?

Yes: Usually a baby is mixed up about day and night. It can take 3 months to settle down. This is the baby's first session on trying to put him/her self to sleep. It occurs again betwen 6 and 12 months. Use gentle discipline and training methods. Try to crique the household also. If more complicated than this, consult your doctor.

Yes. Wait a month.: If a baby is eating fine, growing fine, and seems happy, then one need not worry about him knowing about "night" yet. By keeping the "night" dark, quiet, and without noise or activities; and making the "daytime" bright, with sounds, feedings, and activities; a parent can help his baby have a good, natural bodily rhythm. The baby will sleep better at night, and behave happier during the day, soon.
