How long is the recovery period after a rhinoseptoplasty?

Downtime is 1 week: Most patients return to work after 5-7 days. Typically the bridge of the nose is covered either with steri-strip tapes or a plastic splint for 5-7 days. Bruising typically resolves by about 7 days after surgery. With regard to the final result, that can take several months to one year to be evident. I hope this information is helpful. Rhinoplasty: Recovery after rhinoplasty depends on the specifics of the procedure performed as well as the patient's body. Generally, bruising lasts 7-10 days, swelling is moderate for the first 2-3 weeks and fully resolves somewhere between 6- 12 weeks. Each person is different, and these are just general ranges. Discuss your case with a board certified facial plastic or plastic surgeon.

Depends: most people take a week off work. Two weeks of no strenuous activity and 6 weeks of no glasses on the nose. The swelling is mostly gone in 3 weeks to 3 months but subtle changes occur over a year.
