Tendinitis : Never seen anything that says not locking out would contribute to tendinitis. Why do you not lock out? Locking out gives you a moment to correct any postural changes that might effect the position of your shoulder prior to the eccentric portion (negative) of the life. Remember to lower slowly to your chest as this is an extremely important part of the life. Locking out can help you set the tempo.
