What are ways to deal with chronic back pain after having an epidural?

PT: I don't recommend epidurals for back pain. Epidurals are good for sciatic type symptoms. If you're having chronic back pain then a formal course of physical therapy should help. Ultimately as a last resort maybe surgery.

It depends on : The nature of the back pain. If the injection site hurts try antiinflammatories and warm compresses. If the pain is more complex, see a neurologist for a work up.
