Yes: It is safe to have these 2 procedures close to each other. As long as there are not complications from the 1st surgery. It is important to get the appropriate preoperative clearance and work up from your primary care doctor. It would be helpful to have the gynecologist and plastic surgeon communicate to ensure a smooth postoperative course.
