Possibly: Pica is very common and can sometimes be associated with iron deficiency, which many women also have in pregnancy. Stay away from the bleach, but the condition often goes away after delivery. Make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins.

Maybe: Pregnant women tend to have food cravings. That is they want to eat one food then another. But actually eating non-foods may be a sign of some nutritional deficiency, made worse by the demands of eating for two. Have it checked out with a nutritionist and a counselor.
