Type?? Functional??: More information, please. Need to know if it is making hormones or not. If so, which? Was this an incidental discovery or was your doctor looking for this?

Watch size/change: Nodule(s) on the adrenals are often discovered incidentally during a ct scan or other procedure. Most are benign lumps. But some are not. Questions to consider: is this adrenal lump making excess hormone, causing a variety of different conditions? Do you have hypertension, diabetes, "spells"? If the adrenal nodule is relatively big, or if it is getting bigger, it should come out.
